As with wives and mothers universally, the role played by HRH Princess Shirley throughout her adult life has been less appreciated than it should have been and whilst much has been written, published and is widely known about the secession of the Principality and its founder and Sovereign HRH Prince Leonard, little if anything has ever been written or even attributed to HRH Princess Shirley who has always been there, keeping the family together and performing her duties as Wife, Mother;  Sovereign’s Aide and so much more at every turn. 

It is hoped that with the publication of this book and the events of the “Celebration of Life” offered in her memory and detailed in the following pages, much of this may at last be corrected and her place with myself her family and the Principality of Hutt River made more commonly known and recognised . 

My wife and love in life, truly was a magnificent and deserving woman.

A more personal book about the lives of the founders of the Principality of Hutt River has never been published.

Prince Leonard here is sharing his personal story and more importantly to him, that of his late wife HRH Princess Shirley.

In this book you will read about the life of Princess Shirley and the relationship history of the couple who were to be married in 1947, become Sovereigns in 1970 & to be parted in 2013.

You will also view the many photos that have been made available in this book. These photos have come from both the Principality archives and the private family photo albums of the Casley family, most of these published for the first time.

Prince Leonard also shares the words spoken at his wife’s funeral service and the Eulogy given by his youngest son Prince Graeme, as well as a number of the messages of condolence sent in from around the world on the passing of this great lady.

Before the final pages of dedication in the book you will find a few pages showing some of Prince Leonard’s mathematical writings and formulae in memory of his late wife, who throughout his life typed and helped keep and save his notes. In these pages Prince Leonard provides the formulae and result uncovering “Gods Particle” that number sequence being 10989… which he has dedicated to HRH Princess Shirley.
