Food catering duties were carried out 3 times
for the Ridgedale Pot Luck Suppers.

duty - assisting with the packaging of food for the "Good Food Hamper"
Centre.
|
|
On 6 occasions
during the quarter we helped sort items delivered to the salvation
army store in the town of Tisdale; proceeds as usual for local
charities.
|
|
Food
Bank - 3 times the troop ran the Tisdale Food Distribution Centre.
|
|
On
5 occasions troop members collected food contribution from local
stores on behalf of the Food Bank for distribution.
|
|
Salvania Annual Bonspeal Supper - troop members assisted with the
running of this event.
|
|

duties carried out collecting donations for the Heart and Stroke
Foundation.

|
19
volunteer duties were carried out at a local nursing home.
|
|
Helping Hands - Once again during this quarter members carried out 21
volunteer snow clearing locally; 14 security checks carried out on
local property in the absence of the owners. On 2 occasions a member
assisted staff at a local junior school helping children with reading
difficulties.
|
|
Our
lone member with musical talent helped to entertain at various Seniors
Centres and Care Homes in the area on 3 occasions.
|
Despite prolonged bad weather we still managed to carry out the above
duties. We are now all looking forward to (hopefull) good weather.
This
concludes the report for this quarter.
