Please find my report for April, May, June 2012.

 Since my last report we have gained one more member - Stephen John Heward - an expat Englishman who lives in Northern Alberta; welcome Steve.

Community in Bloom. - one of our members again helped with clerical duties’ at this annual event.

On 3 occasions during the quarter we helped sort items delivered to the Salvation Army Store in the town of Tisdale, proceeds were as usual for local charities.

The Food Bank - 3 times the troop ran the Tisdale Food Distribution Centre.
 

bullet

Medical Car - 7 times local residents were transported for medical appointments to and from the cities of Saskatoon and Melfort and the towns of Duncan, Codette and Tisdale.

Food Catering - Duties were carried out 3 times for the Ridgedale pot luck suppers and once for the Ratner pancake breakfast.   On 1 occasion troop members collected food contributions from local sources for the Food Bank.

24 volunteer duties were carried out at a local nursing home.

Helping Hands - During this quarter members carried out 15 duties checking empty property and/or feeding pets in the absence of their owners. On 7 occasions a member assisted staff at a local junior school serving lunches and joined in fund raising activities. Our member with musical talent once again helped entertain at various seniors centres and care homes in the area on 4 occasions.

 Local farm sale. - one member assisted with catering arrangements at this sale.

Relay for Life. - Held this year in the town of Tisdale - 2 members took part in this survivors walk in aid of funds for cancer research.

Bowling Tournament. - 1 member attended this event which was held to raise monies for the treatment of a little girl suffering from a terminal illness.

Tisdale Twisters Gymnastics Club Annual Walk June 03rd  - 2 members took part in this event to raise funds for this youth club.

Annual "Swap - Exchange" meeting - 1 members assisted with the arrangements of this event.

Held the Annual Troop shoot followed by a BBQ, trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and all who attended received their crossed rifles patch. The shoot was followed by a wiener roast and lots of other food.
 

This concludes the report for this quarter.
